Mubashir Leading the Future of Advertising in Oman
July 06, 2025

Amid the rapid pace of digital transformation, Mubashir continues to strengthen its position as the first Omani company specialized in digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. Since its establishment in 2014, the company has built a wide network of more than 400 screens covering key locations across the Sultanate, including shopping malls, highways, fuel stations, and airports.
In a Q&A interview with Alam Al Iqtisad, Ali Al Raisi, CEO of Mubashir, shared insights on the company’s journey, challenges, and vision for the future. He explained that Mubashir was founded on the belief that outdoor advertising should be interactive and intelligent, going beyond promotion to become a platform for social impact and community awareness. He also highlighted that one of the main challenges in the early days was introducing the concept of outdoor advertising to the local market, which was overcome through persistence and strategic partnerships with both government and private entities.
Today, Mubashir offers flexible solutions including online booking and real-time content updates, while also integrating community awareness messages, giving it a strong competitive edge in the Omani market. Among its key success stories are launching the first digital advertising network inside Sultan Qaboos University, expanding across major governorates such as Al Dakhiliyah, and forming notable partnerships with destinations like Al Mouj Muscat.
Looking ahead, Al Raisi revealed that Mubashir plans to expand its coverage further within Oman and enter the Saudi market as a first step toward broader regional growth, with digital innovation and sustainability remaining at the core of its strategy.
